On Tuesday, April 7, at 4:35 p.m., the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, featuring former Villa Park High School standout AJ Krodel, secured a 5-1 victory over the USC Trojans in their NCAA Division I baseball contest.
The matchup was played at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium and marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. The Gauchos previously fell to the Trojans 7-6 on Tuesday, March 31.
Krodel contributed two innings on the mound and issued one walk.
The Gauchos will play again Friday, April 10, at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium when they face the UC San Diego Tritons.
