Mail ballots are being distributed in Anaheim with several ways available for residents to vote in the upcoming California statewide primary on June 2, according to a May 6 announcement.
The primary gives voters the chance to select candidates for governor and other statewide offices ahead of the general election in November. There are no Anaheim city candidates or city issues on this ballot.
Residents can return their completed mail ballots by mail, ensuring they are postmarked by or delivered to a Vote Center or ballot drop box by Tuesday, June 2. Ballot drop boxes are located at sites including ARTIC, Boysen Park, Chaparral Park, East Anaheim Community Center, Euclid Branch Library, Granada Square, Magnolia Baptist Church (drive-up only), Peralta Canyon Park, Ponderosa Park Family Resource Center, Sage Park, St. Boniface Catholic Church and St. Justin Martyr’s Catholic Church (drive-up only).
Vote Centers will be open from May 23 through June 1 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on June 2 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., at locations such as Anaheim Union High School District offices and Downtown Anaheim Youth Center starting May 23; additional centers open May 30 at various schools and churches throughout the city.
