On Sunday, April 6, former Canyon High School standout Jessalyn Gallegos’ current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Fort Lewis Skyhawks.
The game took place at Aspen Field. This was their second matchup against the Skyhawks this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 7 at 11 a.m. at Aspen Field against Fort Lewis Skyhawks.
