The Anaheim Ducks have recalled defenseman Ian Moore and center Tim Washe from the San Diego Gulls, their primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Ian Moore, age 24, has played 41 games with the Ducks this season, recording two goals and seven assists for a total of nine points. He also has 18 penalty minutes. Moore scored his first NHL goal on November 6 against Dallas. In his NHL career with Anaheim, he has appeared in 44 games and recorded ten points with a plus-one rating. Moore made his NHL debut at the end of the 2024-25 season and registered his first point with an assist on April 16, 2025, in Winnipeg.
Moore signed a two-year entry-level contract with Anaheim on April 12, 2025. This season, he played four games for the Gulls and has five points in 13 career AHL games. Drafted by Anaheim in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft, Moore finished his collegiate career at Harvard University last season with a total of 56 points over 122 games from 2021 to 2025.
Moore represented Team USA at the 2022 World Junior Championship and helped lead the Chicago Steel to a Clark Cup championship during the 2020-21 USHL season.
Tim Washe, also age 24, has played in thirteen games for Anaheim this season, scoring one goal and adding one assist. His first NHL goal came on January 16 against Los Angeles, and he earned his first assist on February 3 versus Seattle. Washe debuted in the NHL with Anaheim on April 15, 2025, after signing a one-year entry-level contract following his college career.
With San Diego this season, Washe led all Gulls rookies in scoring with fourteen goals and thirteen assists for twenty-seven points. He was tied for second among all Gulls skaters in goals and points-per-game at the time of his recall. On August 4, 2025, Washe signed a two-year contract extension with Anaheim and ranked fifth among all AHL rookies in goals scored. He made his AHL All-Star debut on February 10-11 in Rockford, Illinois.
Washe captained Western Michigan University to its first national championship during the 2024-25 NCAA season and contributed two assists in that final game. Over five years at Western Michigan University from 2020 to 2025, he set a program record by playing in171 games and totaled seventy-four points with a plus-nineteen rating.
