The Anaheim Ducks defeated the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 at Canada Life Centre on March 11, ending the Jets’ six-game point streak. The Ducks scored three goals in a span of one minute and forty-four seconds during the second period.

The win was led by Alex Killorn, Ryan Poehling, and Jackson LaCombe, who each recorded a goal and an assist. Lukas Dostal made 12 saves for Anaheim, which has now won eight of its last ten games. For Winnipeg, Morgan Barron scored the team’s only goal while Connor Hellebuyck stopped 31 shots.

Barron opened the scoring early in the second period by deflecting an Elias Salomonsson shot past Dostal. However, Anaheim responded quickly with Tim Washe tying the game at 6:24 after collecting a rebound. Just fourteen seconds later, Poehling tipped in Killorn’s shot to give the Ducks a 2-1 lead.

Killorn extended Anaheim’s advantage to 3-1 at 8:08 following a pass from Poehling that set up a two-on-one opportunity. LaCombe sealed the victory with an empty-net goal late in the third period.

Anaheim’s three-goal burst was their fastest since December 27, 2019, when they scored three times in one minute and thirty-seven seconds against Vegas. The result ended Winnipeg’s recent run of success and highlighted Anaheim’s strong form as they continue their push late in the season.
