On Thursday, May 8, former Canyon High School standout Jessalyn Gallegos’ current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Angelo State Rams.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park. This was their second matchup against the Rams this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 2:30 p.m. at Schaeffer Park against Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals.
