Philipp Grubauer stopped 38 shots as the Seattle Kraken defeated the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 at Honda Center on Monday.

Jordan Eberle led Seattle’s offense with two goals, while Frederick Gaudreau also scored. Kaapo Kakko contributed two assists for the Kraken, who have now won consecutive games for the first time in December.

Mikael Granlund found the net for a fourth straight game for Anaheim. Lukas Dostal made 18 saves for the Ducks, who have dropped three of their last four games.

Eberle broke a 1-1 tie in the third period by converting a one-timer from Matty Beniers during a 3-on-2 rush at 10:04. He later sealed the win with an empty-net goal with 35 seconds remaining.

Seattle opened scoring on its second power play after Jacob Trouba was penalized for slashing. Shane Wright’s shot was stopped by Dostal, but Gaudreau put home the rebound at 4:49 of the second period to make it 1-0.

Anaheim evened things up late in the second when Trouba fired from above the right circle and Granlund redirected it past Grubauer at 15:40.

Ducks forward Leo Carlsson missed his first game this season due to a lower-body injury and is listed day-to-day. Carlsson leads Anaheim with 41 points, including 17 goals and 24 assists.
