On Saturday, April 5, former Sunny Hills High School standout Maddie Moreno’s current college team, the Southern Utah Thunderbirds, lost 13-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Grand Canyon Antelopes.
The game took place at GCU Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Antelopes this season.
It was the last Southern Utah Thunderbirds’ game this season
