On Sunday, March 30, former Canyon High School standout Jessalyn Gallegos’ college team won in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Sunday, March 30, former Canyon High School standout Jessalyn Gallegos’ current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.

The game took place at CMU Softball Field. This was their fourth matchup against the ThunderWolves this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 12 p.m. at Aspen Field against Fort Lewis Skyhawks.
