On Thursday, May 1, former Canyon High School standout Jessalyn Gallegos’ current college team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Metro State Roadrunners.
The game took place at All Star Park. This was their fifth matchup against the Roadrunners this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at All Star Park against Colorado Christian Cougars.
