On Thursday, May 15, former Brea-Olinda High School standout Scott Mitchell’s current collegiate team the Metro State Roadrunners lost 2-5 against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Irwin Field at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Colorado Mesa Mavericks in the tournament.

The Metro State Roadrunners’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m. at Irwin Field.
