At 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, former La Habra High School standout Maddox Moreno contributed to his college team, the Pacific Tigers, who picked up a 7-6 victory against the Sacramento State Hornets in NCAA Division I baseball.
The contest was played at Klein Family Field and marked the teams’ fourth meeting this season. In their previous matchup on Friday, March 13, the Tigers prevailed 5-3.
Moreno gave up one earned run over 0.1 innings and registered one strikeout.
Pacific will meet the Sacramento State Hornets again at Klein Family Field on Sunday, March 15, at 1 p.m.
