Census Bureau: 78% of people in Orange County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 3,182,923 citizens living in Orange County in 2021, 78% were old enough to vote, equating to 2,483,232 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 1,220,246 were male, constituting 49.1%, and 1,262,986 were female, making up 50.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Orange County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.2%.
