Sunny Hills High School standout Jenna Salcido’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship on Friday, May 9

On Friday, May 9, former Sunny Hills High School standout Jenna Salcido’s current collegiate team the Colorado Mesa Mavericks won 3-1 against the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park at 2:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals in the tournament.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 5 p.m. at Schaeffer Park.
