Villa Park High School standout Martina Gutierrez’s college team won in NCAA Division I softball game on Saturday, March 15

On Saturday, March 15, former Villa Park High School standout Martina Gutierrez’s current college team, the Fairfield Stags, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers.

The game took place at CSU Softball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Stags’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of the Meadows against Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
