Young Kim, a U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 40th district since 2021, recently shared a series of policy-focused statements on her official Twitter account.
On May 27, 2026, Kim highlighted public support for restricting congressional stock trading, stating, “75% of voters support banning members of Congress from stock trading. Later that day, she addressed diversity initiatives in education funding with another post: “DEI creates discrimination. Merit creates opportunity. I introduced the Stop DEI Act to protect equal opportunity & ensure federal education dollars never discriminate against our kids.” (May 27, 2026).
In an evening update summarizing legislative efforts with President Biden, Kim wrote, “This year, @POTUS & I fought to deliver YOU real relief: $2.2K per child tax credit  4X increase in the SALT deduction  $1K investment accounts for newborns  $6K tax deduction for seniors  No tax on tips & overtime” (May 27, 2026).
