Two days later, on January 5, she commented on the political situation in Venezuela: Maduro was a brutal dictator who destroyed his country & forced millions to flee.
For many families & small business owners here in Southern California, this moment is deeply personal. I stand with the Venezuelan people & share in their long-awaited sense of hope made possible.
Later that same day, Kim criticized recent state-level policy proposals regarding consumer fees: What nonsense can Sacramento come up with next?
Hitting Californians with yet another hidden fee — this time on everyday products with batteries, from tools to toys. Families are already stretched thin. Sacramento should be lowering costs, not continuing to make our state more https://t.co/Tt5qMjSb87.
Young Kim has served as a member of the U.S. Congress for California’s 40th District since replacing Gil Cisneros in 2021 and previously held office in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016. Born in Incheon, South Korea in 1962 and currently residing in La Habra, Kim graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1985.
