Young Kim, a U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 40th district since 2021, has recently shared her views on congressional reform, election security, and fraud prevention through a series of posts on social media.

On March 27, 2026, Kim wrote: “I came to Washington to work for you & get results & that’s what I’ve done. Congress shouldn’t be about collecting power & perks. Congress needs term limits, now.”

The following day, she addressed voter identification requirements in the United States. On March 28, 2026, Kim posted: “You need ID for beer, cigarettes, flying, driving, banking, & even picking up medicine…But you DON’T need ID to vote? That’s insane. Our elections must be secure and for American citizens only. We need the SAVE America Act now.”

On March 29, 2026, Kim turned her attention to fraud prevention measures: “Fraud is exploding across America. We need a unified strike force to crush it now & in the future. PASS MY NO MORE SCAMS ACT!”

Kim has represented California’s 40th District in Congress since replacing Gil Cisneros in 2021 and previously served in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016. Born in Incheon, South Korea in 1962 and currently residing in La Habra at age 60, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1985.
