In a tweet dated May 29, 2026, Kim wrote, “While Sacramento looks the other way, fraud, waste, & abuse have become business as usual in CA. We MUST restore accountability, so taxpayer dollars go to hardworking families who need it. I introduced the No More SCAMS Act to stop the fraud & crack down on these criminals.”
On the same day, she highlighted her participation in a local business event: “Team Young loved joining the Laguna Hills Chamber of Commerce for the ribbon cutting at Pacific Closet & Garage’s new showroom. Always great to celebrate our local business! https://t.co/uUuRGK4YhD”
Later that evening, Kim shared news of federal support for emergency response teams: “Proud to help lead a $15.1 million increase for Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) teams that passed the House! Kim has represented California’s 40th District in Congress since 2021 after replacing Gil Cisneros and previously served in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016. Born in Incheon, South Korea in 1962 and currently residing in La Habra, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a BBA in 1985.
