Young Kim, U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 40th district, has reiterated her stance against federal fraud in a series of posts on April 2, 2026.
In one message posted at 18:00 UTC, Kim wrote, “One team. One playbook. One goal: stop the fraud.”
Later that evening at 20:34 UTC, she stated, “ZERO TOLERANCE. If you steal from American taxpayers & defraud our federal government, you will be treated accordingly.
I authored the No More SCAMS Act to root up more of this rampant fraud.”
At 21:30 UTC the same day, Kim addressed accountability and called out California Governor Gavin Newsom by name, writing, “How many more ways do we have to say this? Fraud BAD. Accountability GOOD.

Kim has represented California’s 40th District in Congress since 2021 after replacing Gil Cisneros. She previously served in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016 and is known for her efforts to address issues related to government transparency and fiscal responsibility. Born in Incheon, South Korea in 1962 and currently residing in La Habra, Kim graduated from the University of Southern California with a BBA in 1985.
