Young Kim, a U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 40th district since 2021, posted several updates on her social media account on March 18, 2026. Her posts covered community partnerships in the Inland Empire, U.S. policy toward Iran, and a local historical milestone.

In her first post of the day, Kim highlighted ongoing collaborations with regional organizations: “Always great to meet with @inlandempirecf & discuss how we can keep moving our Inland Empire communities forward! Excited to partner with this outstanding group on education, housing, workforce development, health, & civic engagement across Riverside & San Bernardino Counties.” (March 18, 2026)

Later that day, Kim addressed foreign policy issues concerning Iran: “The Iranian regime’s brutality at home & terror abroad MUST end. It’s time to cut off the illicit oil profits fueling their agenda. Kim succeeded Gil Cisneros as representative for California’s 40th district and previously served in the California State Assembly from 2014 to 2016. She was born in Incheon, South Korea in 1962 and currently resides in La Habra. Kim graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1985.
